1. Who we are
In this Privacy Policy, "we", "us" and "our" means EMG Media & Marketing Ltd ("EMG"), registered office at Sovereign House, 212–224 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8PR. EMG operates this Site on behalf of, and in connection with, the "Spirited Away" stage production, produced by [Toho Co., Ltd. / relevant production entity].
For the purposes of the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions described below, EMG is the controller of personal data collected through this Site, except where this policy states that another party (such as PW Productions, in relation to the London production) acts as a separate controller for a specific, limited purpose — see Section 4.
We will process your personal data in accordance with this policy and all applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"), as applicable to you based on your location.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via a notice on the Site and, where we hold your contact details, by email.
2. Information you provide to us
When you contact us, sign up for updates, or otherwise interact with the Site, you may provide:
Identity information: first name and last name
Contact information: email address
Location preference: the show location you're interested in (e.g., London, Toronto, Los Angeles)
Marketing and communications information: your preferences regarding marketing and communications from us
Records of any correspondence you have with us by email or otherwise
3. Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect:
Technical information: IP address, browser type and version, time zone, device and operating system information
Usage information: how you interact with and use the Site, collected via Google Analytics and similar tools
Cookie data: as described in Section 14
4. Who we share your information with
We share your personal data with the following categories of recipients, only for the purposes described:
a) PW Productions — If you sign up for updates and select London as your show of interest (or otherwise indicate interest in the London production), we share your name and email address with PW Productions, the co-producer of the London production at the London Coliseum, so that they can send you information about the London show. PW Productions will act as an independent controller of this data for that purpose. This sharing only occurs if you have separately opted in, as described in Section 5 below — signing up for updates about Toronto or Los Angeles does not result in your data being shared with PW Productions.
b) Service providers — We use third-party service providers to help us operate the Site and manage our contact database. This includes Pazaz Digital Ltd, Flat 3, 37 Station Road, London, England, SW13 0LF, which processes personal data on our behalf as our appointed data processor under a separate Data Processing Agreement between EMG (as data controller) and Pazaz Digital (as data processor). Under that agreement, Pazaz Digital may only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions and for the purposes we specify, and is subject to contractual obligations regarding confidentiality and data security. We also use other service providers in this category, including IT hosting providers and Google Analytics (see Section 14), who similarly process data on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we specify.
c) Advertising partners — As described in Section 14, we work with third-party advertising and analytics partners (currently including Admaxim, Affectv, Crimtan, Quantcast, and Rocket Fuel) who may receive information via cookies for the purpose of showing you more relevant advertising. If you are a California resident, this may constitute a "sale" or "share" of personal information under the CPRA — see Section 11 for your opt-out rights.
d) Business transfers — If EMG or the Spirited Away production is sold, merged, or transfers substantially all of its assets, personal data may be transferred to the acquiring party as part of that transaction.
e) Legal and compliance — We may disclose personal data where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or regulatory request, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
f) Professional advisors — Our external auditors, lawyers, and accountants, where necessary for their engagement.
We do not sell your personal data for money, and we do not share it with any party not listed above without either your consent or a separate update to this policy.
5. Newsletter sign-up and marketing
When you sign up for updates via the form on this Site, you will see the following consent language:
☐ I agree to the Privacy & Cookies Policy and acknowledge that I will receive emails about the show(s) I've selected above.
☐ If you selected London: I also agree that my name and email address may be shared with PW Productions, co-producer of the London production, so that they can send me information about the London show. (This checkbox only appears/applies if London is selected as a location of interest.)
You may withdraw this consent, and unsubscribe from marketing generally, at any time by:
Contacting us at [email protected]
Using the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email
If you wish to withdraw consent specifically for PW Productions while remaining subscribed to EMG updates, contact us at [email protected] and we will notify PW Productions to delete your data from their systems.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including secure hosting and access controls. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to the Site.

12. Your rights (Canada residents) — PIPEDA
If you are located in Canada, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions).
We collect, use, and disclose your personal information only for the purposes identified in this policy, and we will seek meaningful consent before using it for any new purpose.
For more information you can contact us at [email protected] . If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
13. Children's data
This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [privacy contact email] so we can delete it.
